Bursting onto the culinary scene is the new restaurant, George and Onnie’s, Manila’s next go-to spot for comforting and mouth watering Filipino flavors. George and Onnie’s, named after the parents of the founders, Ana Lorenzana de Ocampo and Chef Margarita Manzke, is a symbolic tribute to all the families and loved ones who first introduced Filipino food to us.
Ana and Chef Margie, started the Wildflour Group as a passion project born out of their shared love for food. This passion for food was sparked very early on in their childhood, having grown up exposed to their family’s various businesses in the food industry ranging from a small-scale “turo-turo” style restaurant in Quiapo to the large scale company behind the famous “Lorins Patis” brand.
Now, through George and Onnie’s, Ana and Chef Margie want to share that same heartwarming flavors that can only stem from dishes that were inspired by their parents. Make sure to try out the Wildflour Group’s newest culinary adventure that weaves treasured family traditions into wildly delicious classic dishes like adobo and sinigang. You will find yourself, like at every Filipino family reunion, asking for seconds.
